One Drop at a Time by M. Russell Ballard LDS Blog Tour

Blurb from the book:

Do you sometimes wonder if your little efforts could possibly make any difference at all? Consider a simple example from nature.
Honey is “one of the foods that includes all the substances— enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and water—necessary to sustain life,” writes Elder M. Russell Ballard. And yet, “Over its short lifetime of just a few weeks to four months, a single honeybee’s contribution of honey to its hive is a mere one-twelfth of one teaspoon. Though seemingly insignificant when compared to the total, each bee’s one-twelfth of a teaspoon of honey is vital to the life of the hive.”
Your simple, daily acts of service matter, and this charmingly illustrated little book will lift your heart as it demonstrates the power of many righteous people working together to fill the world, one drop at a time, with the sweet truths of the gospel.
My Review:
This inspirational book has beautiful pictures that bring to life Elder Ballard's talk from October 2012 General Conference.  The message is beautiful and compares the service that women give to the work that honeybees perform. Individually the honeybee works very hard to produce only one-twelfth of a teaspoon of honey.  As sisters in the Church we may feel like the service we provide is not much;  but when each of us combines our efforts and we multiply that by the number of women in the Church, our efforts are amazing!  Just like the individual honeybee has to work hard for a small outcome, but combined with the efforts of the hive it is a great accomplishment!  Inspiring, uplifting, and beautiful, Elder Ballard's words will instill in you the motivation to keep on working hard!  Together as sisters, we can achieve great things...one drop at a time!
